Washer joins the Cognent Team as Graphic
Designer
Michael Washer
becomes Cognent’s newest graphics designer
El Paso, Texas - Monday, January 16, 2006 –
Cognent this morning announced that Michael
Washer has joined the Cognent team as
graphic designer. Washer, former Rabbi of
the Derech Olam Messianic Synagogue, is also
an accomplished fine art artist with
numerous exhibitions in the region.
“Michael’s diverse background in fine art as
well as a teacher, plus his experiences as a
Rabbi brings a unique perspective to our web
development efforts”, said Martin Paredes,

added, “Michael not only brings the
traditional graphics art experience but he
is also an accomplished songwriter as well
as a studio guitarist that allows us to

Washer earned a Bachelor of Arts from the
University of Texas at El Paso in 1982.
